Scott Fife
Scott Fife, a seattle native, is an American artist who creates sculptures of iconic figures out of cardboard as well as an array of animals. He has been exhibiting his creations since 1976 in various museums and galleries in America, including ones in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Famous art museums include the Frye Museum, the Tacona, the Boise, and the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture. His most recent exhibit was called Bear Season and was featured in the Platform Museum. It ended in July 2011.

Emperor Qin's Terracotta Army
This incredible army of thousands of Terracotta soldiers was made during the 200s B.C. to protect the first emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di, in the afterlife. Each soldier was intricately made, each with their own expressions and placed in lines according to rank. They had been buried underground for hundreds of years and only discovered accidentally in 1974. To read more about the Terracotta Army, click here.
